One thing I love about the #Fediverse is that hall monitors can't mess with my ability to use the platform, so long as I'm on the right instance. But man, sanctimonious tone policing hall monitors trying to tell everybody what to do on the internet is not just irksome, but problematic when they do so on platforms where they have far more influence and power.
