Like you cannot condemn hate while being hateful yourself! That's like the #KKK trying to call out black supremacists

We literally have neo-brown shirt sympathizers running around calling for the censorship of political speech while straight up cold pizza is running rampant on social media, including #X / #Twitter (despite #ElonMusk's claims he would get rid of it).

Like, what are our priorities, exactly? Is manipulating a handful of presidential elections really more important than protecting children from being exploited and sexually objectified?

One thing I love about the #Fediverse is that hall monitors can't mess with my ability to use the platform, so long as I'm on the right instance. But man, sanctimonious tone policing hall monitors trying to tell everybody what to do on the internet is not just irksome, but problematic when they do so on platforms where they have far more influence and power.
