Value for Value is going one direction only, but I don't think it will be adopted as quickly as it should.

Just been to watch a local sporting event and told it's enforcing a 5€ admission fee. I paid it under duress and watched the worst sporting event imaginable.

Having been charged entry, I didn't spend a penny more on lottery tickets or drinks.

As a result I spent less overall than when there was a zero entry fee, and having paid, I was not OK with the crap spectacle. No drinks and no lottery to divert me away from the rubbish value of the admission fee.

Value for Value is perfect for building. Not sure what works best after the service or product has been perfected, but as it's early days, that's not a concern right now.

I hear what you're saying. But it's more the problem that the finished (music) product is digital and can be reproduced/ steamed at zero cost. It's hard to charge for digital things so value for value seems like the best way for the artist to get money for their product in this instance
