A lady was checking out with me at the shop today and was paying with cash. As she sorted through small change I could hear that it was distinctly not modern coinage. She paid me with silver coins from the fifties. The quarters are probably five bucks each. But the more interesting thing was that my mind immediately recognized the audible difference. Silver has a sound worth knowing.
