Access to information should not be limited to privileged groups. If you don’t have money to pay for a scientific article or buy a scientific journal, you can download it for free from Sci-Hub. Its creator, Alexandra Asanovna Elbakyan, has been a pioneer in the use of #Bitcoin.

You can search for your article in the PubMed library. Just copy the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) or the web address of the article in the journal on Sci Hub Website, and you can download it freely.

Here is an example, and don't forget to thank the creator by sending #Bitcoin to her in Sci Hub 🧡 #DocChain

+ Libregen/libgen if you need books that are not on scihub.

There is also a Zotero Plugin for Scihub 😉

💯

I wonder if there is a way to get a #nostr bot that pulls from Sci-hub.

That would be amazing

Scihub got me through NP school. We had access through university but the multiple logins were so cumbersome I'd just use SH. I do wish theybwpuld implement Bip47/paynyms bc static donation addresses are terrible for privacy and if a Russian national who undermines powerful interest groups gets labelled certain ways, the government can link transactions back to supporters
