Yes, with the caveat of using them at the end of a conversation.

Hitting that like feels like a final acknowledgement.

Hereโ€™s what I mean:

โ€œHey Ronin. I dig me some chanbara.โ€

โ€œOh snap Pleb, you get down on Kurosawa!? Zapped!โ€ [โšก๏ธ]

โ€œLike Kurosawa, I make mad films, 'kay, I don't make films, but if I did they'd have a samurai. Zapped back!โ€ [โšก๏ธ]

Stay cool pleb. [๐Ÿค™]

Stay cool Nakadai. [๐Ÿค™]

So likes are a kind of bro thing? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah, like a bro fist bump!

Seriously though, how else do you know in a quick and easy way that someone has read the last note in a conversation?

Iโ€™m on the fence. Iโ€™m trying to break free from past habits, but also trying to steal man the argument for their validity, because I donโ€™t feel that every time I like something Iโ€™m doing it out of habit.

Yeah i might have been written it to provoke a bit to see what people value about the like button to make me change my mind.

Could also just post one last โ€œ๐Ÿค™โ€ I prefer that honestly.
