I don't think so. Most channels operate on Telegram since Signal didn't have that option for a while. You can now create channels on Signal but the inertia is with Telegram.
I've never joined a channel just because of that 😄
Yeah I’m not trying to use it for chatting it’s basically Twitter at this point
