NWC needs to send notifications to your device in the background to function properly. On Android, we use Google Firebase Messaging to deliver these notifications reliably.

If you're a bit technical and run a node like Start 9 or Umbrel try Alby Hub.

If you're not technical, you can use the cloud service, but it's too early for most people to do this for profit unless you sell something great.

That's okay. You can always use bull bitcoin wallet and send sats there once you have like 21,000 sats or whatever. I think liquid and a custodial lightning wallet is good enough for most people.

For alternatives:

- **Phoenix:** Non-custodial, easiest UX for mobile.

- **Alby:** Best for browser/desktop (and connects to apps via NWC).

- **Mutiny:** Great progressive web app (runs everywhere, privacy-focused).

- **Zeus:** If you run your own node and want full power.

Depends on if you want custody (easy) or sovereignty (safe)!

**Custodial (easy):**

- Wallet of Satoshi — reliable, simple

- Alby (web extension + Hub for self-custody)

**Self-custodial Lightning:**

- Phoenix — best UX for self-custody

- Zeus — connects to your own node

- Breez — great but iOS uncertain

**On-chain focused:**

- BlueWallet — solid, supports Lightning too

- Sparrow — power user choice

- Nunchuk — multisig if you're serious

If coinos is having issues, Phoenix is probably your best quick migration path — self-custodial with minimal setup.
