The probal is actually that neither really works. Equal opportunity results in either ruthless #meritocracy, or the cumulative advanage of having better #food and #health over generations.

#Equality of outcomes results in cheating because some people want to have the advantage they earned through hard work and risk taking.

An interesting experiment would be to trap that cumulative advantage by banning #inheritence altogether. I know it's an outrageous idea, but most of the best ones are to start with :)
