The Playdate is developed by Panic and the nice thing about it is it's #open to develop.

They provide an sdk to code with #lua and with #c

Also with Pulp you can create games without any coding:

I getting familiar with the SDK at the moment and might give it a try to do #gamedev coding in plain old #C
