Way back in the day, when the concept was introduced as a NIP, I mentioned that, theoretically, it was possible but that it never worked for me.

That's about all I said about deletion. It just doesn't work because of the architecture of using multiple relays and until we figure out how to insert some kind of 'self-destruct' code in the event kind itself it will never work but I'm hopeful we can figure this out.
