If there's one thing I absolutely hate it's cleaning windows. Just can never get it perfect. Water too hot or too foamy, sponge to wet, water dripping down my arms into my sleeve and on the floor, squeegee is crooked or whatever and leaves greasy stripes which I try to rub off with cloth speading it out even worse.

Honestly feel this is some black magic craft I need someone else to do 😂

Some advice against the stripes is "dreft" dishsoap or put half an onion in the water. Also I recently got some silicon "trekkers" (don't know the English word for it) and they clean without any stripes even in the sun.

I will post the brand of those "trekkers" once I'm home from the gym 🏋️‍♂️ 💪

Vgm in mn trekker van rubber maar zeker aan vervanging toe.

Heb de 2e helft van de ramen met dreft gedaan zoals je aanrade en volgens mij maakte het een verschil! Thanks!

My german friend taught me that if the window is hot when you clean it, it won't ever look clean. Gotta do it before the sun hits that window apparently

The cleanest I ever get windows is "Blading" them with a literal razor blade. I use a vinegar solution for most window cleaning, but if they are really gross, add a few drops of cheap dish detergent.

Set your spray bottle to a fine mist. Spray one layer across the top of the window.

Start with a microfiber cloth to get most of the dirt off wiping from the top down, misting the window as you go.

Once the first pass is done, re-mist the window starting again at the top, then use your razor blade to move across the top and then start from that stripe down, overlapping your path.

Do clean the blade occasionally with a clean cloth.

Doing this correctly will let you achieve a clean that it's far superior to wiping work a cloth.

Ha--have done this as well...also use a single edge to clean my workbench top (actually a welding bench with a steel top, but don't weld there as it really has limited air circulation)--but a razor blade cleans up all kinds of accumulation...great tip nostr:npub1q6ya7kz84rfnw6yjmg5kyttuplwpauv43a9ug3cajztx4g0v48eqhtt3sh

I use liquid spray + newspaper in a warm day without direct sunlight works perfect every time:)
