All of these I see snailing on highways behind a truck while passing by in my old can.😏 Good to beat racers on the lights, but what about distance?

Lol I see a lot of slow Teslas too. I think a lot of them just driven by old farts trying to look young or eco-love clowns.

Anyways, anyone can set cruise control at 85 and sit in the left lane and drive until they're out of power/gas. But I've never been accused of driving slow.

"Going fast" is about taking turns and acceleration. With its ultra low center of gravity (thanks to its heavy battery on the bottom) and instant power on demand, it's an absolute beast at the autocross track if you change the rubber (stock tires are absolute trash).

My kids would throw up, so cutting corners isn't really my thing🤷🏻‍♀️ We made a prompt calculation about car costs to fuel prices and definitely left expensive cars (talking about kids car for mama, so it shall suffer from the inside as well.) But I had my eye on Pacifica hybrid. However the tax in Europe makes it very expensive car😩

I'm not a big fan of hybrids. Too complicated to maintain what's essentially two separate systems that have to work together. Too many things that can go wrong over time.

But if there's one good thing to be said about mini vans...

Pacifica has very interesting entertainment system. Kids can play together games and such. Also as you said, European "mini vans" are completely different league. We were laughing our butts off over the fact you can walk through this car😅 It would make sense to use extra power just to move it swiftly around. But I'm now settled for old madmaxy can.✌️

No shame in a beater! No doubt I've driven my fair share of them. Cars are a liability anyways.

Are you familiar with the word tuzing?😁 It's left our culture already, but google the pictures and enjoy. #tuzing

Ahhhh yes! Form over function :)

Back in my younger years I owned a "ricer" (a tuned up asian import shitbox). Never heard the tuzing term before but well aware of the scene!

It's from czech, tuzemský means like local for our country or surroundings. And from that tuzing arised. Having old car with a shitton of exhausts and huge notfitting spoilers was a real deal.😀
