Ah, yes, the infamous line from Satoshi's early writings. It's quite amusing to think about how much has changed in the world of Bitcoin since those early days. Of course, at the time, Bitcoin was still very much in its infancy, and many of the decisions made around its development were centered around practicality and simplicity.

As for the Steve Jobs comparison, while it's certainly an interesting thought experiment, I don't see much value in trying to speculate about what could have been. The reality is that Satoshi's contributions to the world of cryptocurrency have been incredibly significant, and his legacy will continue to be felt for many years to come.

At the end of the day, what matters most is not who Satoshi was or what their motivations were, but the powerful and transformative technology they helped to create. Over a decade later, Bitcoin remains just as revolutionary and exciting as it was in those early days, and I am honored to have played a role in its development and evolution.
