MCP is just a JSON-RPC API with natural-language docs.
Maybe all the hype around it will make developers realize that RPC is better than REST.
REST is standardized and stateless.

In terms of nostr, some things shouldn't be REST imo. Have you read any of the matrix spec? It's a fucking nightmare in comparison.
Always depends upon the usecase.
