What are your favorite things about this camera?

Love the size, design, lens and simplicity of it. The raw files are great to work with.

I don’t like the limitation of a fixed 28mm lens, or the battery life. Spoiled from the m262 battery which lasts forever

It’s a nice looking camera!

It’s been years since I’ve had one. I had a Nikon D3300 when I was an amateur photographer but it broke some time ago. No idea why!

I’ve had the itch to get back into photography as a creative outlet. Plus I enjoy taking and editing photos.

Gotta pick it back up! Great for exercising attention

What’s a good starter camera going into 2025?

Hmm that’s a good question. How much are you willing to spend?

Let’s put the budget between $300-$500.

Honestly, the xpro1 is great. But any of the canon rebel bodies are okay

Thanks for the recommendations!

🔥🔥🔥

Leica and Fuji users take pictures of their cameras, instead of other subjects

Yeah good one mate

I’ve been eyeballing this camera for awhile. Do you recommend?

It’s a great camera yeah. I would only say that if you’re comfortable with it being a fixed 28mm lens, then yeah pick up a copy. The Q1 is well worth the price. The new Q isn’t as great imo. I like the sensor on the Q1 which is what I have

Good to know.

My only hesitation is the fixed lens. It’s quite an adjustment when you have shot on DSLRs your whole life.

I only shoot fixed lenses. Only 35 really but also this 28 which is great for family and event kind of stuff. Here’s some work of mine with it https://www.colinczerwinski.com/meadowbrook

I should dust mine off

Get out there 🤘🏼
