We already have SimpleX, Signal, Telegram, etc...
Nostr should play to its strengths.
SimpleX is the only one that matters now.

Yeah if you're using Telegram you already dgaf about privacy.
Unfortunate that many people in the crypto community don't realize this and appear to fall for their misleading marketing.
Nostr can replace Telegram for public chats and SimpleX replaces literally anything else for private.
