It didn't really change the way I handle money but it sure does feel great knowing that every time I use it there's no 3rd party/government involved that knows my identity or can block or otherwise interfere with this transaction. It's happening on my terms whether they like it or not. Feels good.

Exactly --- its not always about changing behavior, its about removing invisible constraints. When no one can freeze, reverse, or question your payment, money feels more like a right than a permission.
