First lien position HELOC to pay off the mortgage (aka death pledge) within 10 years? An interesting topic that I need to research into more. Could this strategy really be leveraged to delete the amortization interest on a home loan? Not gonna lie, I’m getting fired up about the potential.

I’m still doing some research but it sounds like this is how home loans were structured before fractional banking was put in place.
