I tried calling, but I don't think I can use my home phone when connected to the world wide web.

The trick was to unplug all the phones she had no idea how phones worked.
I just hid the phones in my room 😂
i got those little indicators at Radio Shack that lit up if someone was using the line.
they were not amused.
