Im new to reticulum, just got it running on some android devices over 2.4ghz wifi. What frequency does this transmit over? Whats the range and data rate like for you?

So this is LoRa transmitter. Runs on 868Mhz, has a much lower bitrate. Like very much lower.
Thanks for explaining. Its the same as the meshtastic transmitters, or close im not really sure. Im only interested in higher bitrate, things like 2.4ghz. Would the best way for me to do that be to just get a cheap router and hook up a wicked anten a to that b?
I'd say look into OpenWRT as a base firmware and look at their hardware support list. I believe GLInet makes good products that they support.
Then you can go crazy with that and get things like batman-adv running over 802.11s
