Good for you! Retirement for me is now. Being able to spend my time as I want to is huge. Also, being outside the traditional 9-5 makes so many things easier as I can go to a store when there is far less traffic (cars & people). 🎉

As an immigrant from Africa working for corporate… my goal is to retire in 6 years and go back to take care of my parents.

I want as many acres as possible of farmland, with livestock, my own skatepark (including a Danny Way style mega ramp), gun-range, a pool, and a military level industrial garage to fit my Northrop B-2 Spirit Stealth bomber and other vehicles.

I am not a fan of retirement. I think it is good to keep working. In fact if you do what you like, it is not really a job. If you keep doing the same thing you have been doing, I guess it is because you really like it. So it is a great idea.
Almost the same plan here. Keep doing what I’m doing until my GFY attitude gets me fired and then pivot more to reading, volunteering, grandfatherly time, and gardening.

I define retirement as just the elimination of the need to make money guiding my decisions
If bitcoin actually hits where I want to hit, I'll buy a house in the Italian hilly countryside and I'll be an independent woodworker for old people in small towns.
