I found out that LLMs are very popular among children. They are replacing friends and parents for them. I can't say that this is entirely bad, especially when it comes to children from troubled families or sick, lonely kids, but it is definitely sad. At some point, robots might be able to replace both friends and parents, but in their current state, LLMs are not capable of fulfilling this role, and they can harm children just as much as their loneliness, illness, or alcoholic parents.
