We were always presented with the 2 options, and he went to both Mobius and Sylie (the reps of each extreme POV), trying to decide which one to choose. I truly hoped it would be something else, and what they came up with was so poignant and bitter sweet and perfect.
He’s still a Loki, and a Loki always looses, but he also is a Loki as there has never been before.
He achieved, ultimately, what he truly wanted - both what he said he wanted at the end of S1 in the fight with Sylvie and at the bar in this season …. just in a different way, in a bigger picture way.
I love tie-in merch as a way to remember a story or the feelings that story invoked. Currently on the search for something Loki that will fulfill that current need.
