Why do you think a lot of towns have rivers running through them?
The phenomenon is not unique to The United States incidentally. It happens the world over.
Explain I don’t get it
Fuck me. People live by rivers, they have done for THOUSANDS of years. They are trade routes (Before cars) and you can fish them. Not ALL towns have them of course, because there are a finite number of navigable rivers, but if you have a river, anywhere, the chances are, there will be a lot of peoole live by one, then more people and more people and......There's your town or city🙏🏻.
People are 65% water, the cities are inherently centralized around the source needed most by humans; worldwide this is true
