I never said Hamas didn't commit war crimes, even if those numbers are minuscule compared to the crimes of the state of Israel. Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people, the government of Israel is the representative of the Israeli people.
Regardless of fairy tale childrens books and their dictates, Israel has the land and took it by force. Comparing the state of Israel and Hamas is not only wrong but ridiculous. American resources vs amateur stone throwing.
Jews, Muslims and Christians did not have this violence between them on that land for hundreds of years under the Ottoman empire, only under the artificially created state of Israel, has the violence escalated to these levels. If they actually had an intention of sharing the lend at-least, this would have never happened. The historical maps speak volumes, displacement and mass murder including children for decades.

The US provided $6bil to Hamas (formally given to Iran with the admonition - whatever you do, don't give this to Hamas). And weapons dumped by the US in Afghanistan were used.
The US arms both sides because it makes money for the "military industrial complex". It's been that way since WW2. They had a good end game for WW2 itself, but nobody thought to provide an endgame for the ramped up "defense industry".
