It's a lot more fun using mods with luanti than it was with minecraft which never was built with a proper mod api afaict. Maybe that's changed but minetest/luanti has the majority of my gaming attention these days. I have some plans to try and make my own game at some point but we'll see how that goes

Luanti minetest is a minecraft rpg maker. Yeah you need mods for that for functionality since that game is about making games & not actually a game. You're just playing other peoples creations. That would give a different taste if that's the first time ever modding. Minecrafts mods I only did when it was still a flash game. After that I grew up & played the minecraft for adults game called 7 days to die.

That's a good game but as for modding it all comes to what the game has to offer & in particular skyrim has a very big modding community around roleplaying so theres tons of mods to change the experience around, then theres all the sex, rape, marry anyone mods, custom buildings, custom areas there's even one mod that the custom location is bigger then skyrim itself.

Also some of these mods do things like create magic arrows ever wanted to shoot wabbajack arrows well you can & more on arrows. There's even fus ro dah arrows : )
