Interestingly, that opens snort, not Damus, even though I opened it from Damus.
I had this same issue. Found that linking to Damus redirects to snort, but I’m not sure if that’s intentional or what. Been linking directly to snort.social as a result but I don’t know if there’s a better way.

How are things supposed to work or what is ideal? Considering there’s different clients, if you click a Damus link on desktop, what should happen? What’s best linking practice?
If you are clicking damus.io link in Damus, link should not take you outside the app.
Outside damus on mobile with damus, damus.io link should take you to damus relevant view.
On desktop without damus, there is no damus app.
If I am not mistaken damus.io URL is configurable, can redirect to a web client like iris. Is this correct #[3]
