Groups slowly gain some traction, but I think it's too early for a "mass migration" at this point.
Ok, so basically, the kind of group community features that people currently rely on Telegram for are perfect for a local, multi-category, members-only communications channel.
Which Nostr client offers or is actively developing these capabilities?
Is SimpleX the answer? I haven’t explored its group chat options enough—does anyone have insights?
It almost feels like a boots-on-the-ground recruitment effort is needed for a collective switch within well-organized, connected local communities. That would be ideal.

But hearing about real-life community members being impersonated and people falling for Telegram scams, causing real-world ruptures within the community, is what's stirring this exploration for me.
It seems entirely possible to spread a compelling enough message that would inspire freedom-minded people to tighten their ship.
