Zeno's paradox in action

You missed the part where you have to ignore all the things random users of the software ask about.

And the software itself is never the end goal (might be obvious but sometimes gets forgotten I think)

True true. I want to build colonies in space. But I'm not taking the current version of the internet and payments with me. Too inefficient and encumbered.

Side project inception.

how about: building software is just managing external dependencies so you can build a bunch of stuff that you need to build before you can build the thing you want to build

what happens when you've built all the things?

I think that means your brain is done with its generational insights and ready to retire to more everyday functions while the next generation's visionaries cook

That said, the first time I took a bunch of things I'd previously built, plugged them into each other in a new way and they just started doing a new, desirable thing... like nothing I've expected as a mechanical engineer.

I am in that hell as we speak 🤡🥂💯🎉

Who will build the tools? Other tools sitting in their basements.

even as a non-coder who just designs and posts ideas, this is too real

Makes me want to switch careers to carpentry
