Trying an experiment. These tomatoes are 60-70 days till maturity and I have about 150 frost free days that started about week ago. I want to see if I can start these tomatoes now and still get a harvest, the math adds up that I should at least get some. They're a indeterminate, so I may need to look at topping it about 30 day before my estimated first frost to ensure what's set will have enough time to ripen but I think it's worth the garden experiment to see if it works.

FYI you can dig them up in the fall and put them in the garage, they will continue to ripen / produce what's on the vine.

I know but I don't actually have a garage or really enough space for letting them sit while they ripen. We recently moved onto raw land and are slowly building infrastructure.

I'll be posting some photos of my tomatoes later so keep an eye out.

There's a reason, I think it's pretty awesome. πŸ˜‰

I'll keep an eye out for it!

It'll be tomorrow now, my lazy ass has decided to have a chilled evening. Mainly because the housework took longer than planned πŸ™„ 🀣
