We should look for egoless public servants as presidents. Ego is a MAJOR red flag. If someone has a big ego and is susceptible to flattery, they will do the bidding of whoever strokes their ego the best. This makes them vulnerable to manipulation by literally anyone.

Ego is the enemy of us all.

I don’t think ego is the driving force in their decision making. It’s money.

And what causes the love of money above what is morally correct

Define morally correct

taking money as a bribe to push agendas of things that are bad for your citizens - morally incorrect. For instance. Not taking the bribe money (lobby money) would be morally correct

The entire existence of government is morally incorrect because it is based on violent theft. So even without bribery, it is immoral.

Agreed… and also, Where does the urge to want to govern others stem from

Greed and power

These are desires of the ego.

It stems from the belief that we are our physical bodies & minds.

A big ego is an indication of mind dominance.

We are so much more than our minds & bodies.

If we are not our mind and body, then what are we?

I said that we're more than our minds & bodies.

We are pure consciousness. The creators and masters of our own universes.

What is pure consciousness?

Look inwards

It's not really something I can describe for you.

Love is as close as I can manage, but even that word has distortions attached.

I only ever feel it & it feels like nothing else.

Ego is like air in your tyres.

It's not the enemy until it isn't.

Meaning it fulfills it's purpose as long as it fulfills it's purpose. And it will cease to exist once it fulfilled its purpose.

Ego is solely a highly limited view of "eternal reality". It's better described as the yet unintegrated parts that stem from seeing things as unwhole. Holy means in peace with what is/is not - fully reintegrated/fully dissolved.
