I could see #zaps leading to a more positive & friendly culture in the way that I open nostr and I’m always in the headspace of looking for notes I enjoy to reward instead of being in the (twitter-like) headspace of being prepared to argue or go on the defense about xyz topic

Absolutely. Zaps incentivize positive content and interactions. Only other trolls are going to zap trolls. Non-trolls just looking to be social and have a good time together vastly outweigh them. Hence, it doesn't pay well to be a troll.

This is true. What's more is virality will be organic by necessity, and that means the people want it, not just that the algorithm approves.
