I toy with the idea of getting one. It really does boil down to the trust in Block Inc and its longevity for the third key.

Yes and that’s the key - excuse the pun. And in comparison to others in the field, you basically have nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m who is seems to be very vested in the whole bitcoin thing vs some unknowns selling some similar product.

True. I like Bitbox too. I think it might make sense to diversify. A bit in Bitbox, a bit in Bitkey and perhaps a bit in Coldcard. I also personally know quite a few who shun them all and opt for the old school keys on paper.
