Besides de-googling & replacing all proprietary Apps with those from Fdroid, I have the duckduckgo filter running.

When I'm in a public wifi, I will switch to a decentralized vpn (I use Safing on the laptop, but Mysterium on my phone).

Quite happy with the results for now (been running it that way for about 8months
