Explaining that bitcoin is just faster, cheaper and more convenient than traditional banking is a better way to orange pill normies than the whole "fuck the government" thing

In my experience anyway

But also fuck the government

No, fuck you and take some SATs!

Fuck the government!

And it keeps people the hell out of your transactions. I can send you some sats and that’s between ME and YOU.

No bored bureaucrat can stop it because of wrong think, climate, or some other nonsense.

When I want to orange pill someone, I just say that Bitcoin is the only thing you can comfortably "carry" with you in case of an emergency, when you suddenly have to relocate. In that case, you will most likely have to leave all your other valuable possessions behind, and potentially forever...

I was just thinking about this the other day myself. You should approach persuading normies by making points that matter to them, and not necessarily what you think is important. If they're environmentalists, approach them by saying mining could capture wasted energy. If they're anti-capitalists types, explain how the current system benefits the rich and politically connected (this one can sometimes be tough for me as a staunch capitalist/private property advocate). If they're statists and love the dollar, explain to them that Bitcoin might be the dollars only option to maintain reserve status.

Whatever it is, I think it's far more effective to show how it's beneficial to their beliefs rather than saying their beliefs are wrong (even if they are).

Also, fuck the government 😂

An easier, but incorrect proposition:

By ignoring the explicit value proposition of removing state control from money, the quest for faster, cheaper and more convenient payments leads to another failed reserve currency:
