Keeping it as simple as possible this spring,
Focusing on tomatoes, basils, and candy roasting squash - going to direct seed all of it.
Iโm about 50/50 on what I direct seed and what I start in trays. Simple is always best. Love seeing another grower and soil lover around here.
I'm hoping I have extra funds post summer to finish off my seed starting area so I can accomplish that balance better ๐ค

I came across some discarded takeaway containers that have clear lids.. micro greenhouses. Seeds love them.

Very excited to see more #permies on nostr. I need to post more about the Soil Food Web. Took the course from Dr. Elaine last year and learned how to make amazing compost.
Nice. Had a decent season last year despite a shield bug infestation and hail on July 4th. Would really like to set up aquaponics in a controlled greenhouse and start the ford assembly line of food. Have ya'll seen Nelson Pade's stuff? Whats the most efficient way to upload pics and strip meta and exif data on nostr?

Why can't I zap you?
Hmm...wierd. Been having issues. Using IRIS on browser and Damus on mobile. Been using strike to send zaps (just hit you with one) and ZAP address for receiving. Except when I ran a test from Strike to Zap it never went through. Can see in memepool but never settles in Zap. Had to open GitHub issue. Got any pro tips?
