Having a belief (or praising one) should never be illegal, no matter how much one disagrees with it.
I probably take it too personally being born in communism and knowing all the killing that it implies against people who dare to want something different.

Every time I see one of these, I wonder—do Westerners really miss the thrill of poverty under authoritarian rule that much? Having grown up in a communist state, I can tell you: it’s not some edgy lifestyle experiment. But maybe some of these pampered idealists need to actually live it to understand what they’re glorifying.
