Who has a stake and who doesn’t, in your world view?
Discussion
it's very old and well established principle of law:
Sacrifice is the measure of credibility
if you have something to lose, you have a stake
you'll need to do a lot more study of jurisprudence to really understand why giving votes to people without anything to lose is fraud
yes, you maybe have something to lose
but you're up against thousands of people with nothing who envy anyone who has anything at all
The MAGAs are certainly trying to steal the vote away from those who don’t worship Donald Trump. How many MAGAs have a property stake is unclear, however, as they mostly seem like fearful dimwits to me.
However, they won’t succeed, and I don’t think your vision of stakeholders-only voting, however defined, will ever apply in this country. We aren’t going back.
nope, you are going to the flames, enjoy
it is a total illusion that your vote has any influence
whatever position you have, is already counted
it's only when you can be persuaded to change sides that you matter to the politicians
the noose will just continue to get tighter, if karamela wins this time, maybe you won't have your CBD in your town burn down but half of the shops will close due to being bankrupted by new taxes and regulations
if trumpy wins, the armies of masked hooligans will be unleashed to burn down these businesses anyway
either way, you lose
I mistakenly thought we were having a reality-based crisis intellectual exchange but now you’ve said something insane and I have no idea what you’re talking about. Good bye.
Did you vote for Biden? If so I hate you because your vote caused wars to flame globally.
So if it matters, take responsibility instead of trying to pin everything on the other party.
at some point if people are gonna let themselves get funneled into the slaughterhouse corridor you gotta just let go of it and get on with your own survival, and that of your family
i hear people talk about teh idea of "standing your ground" but this is utterly ignorant of the historical facts - that ground gets stolen by organised gangs and very often lives are lost pointlessly trying to defend it when the rest of the world is not as violent as the situation on the ground under your feet
for most of the USA i'm not saying leave, just move away from the cities
sure, many country towns are plagued by drunks and drug addicts but the dangers from organised political action decline exponentially in the absence of population full of dupes to coerce, or make sullen and resigned, to attack the political enemies, which are basically the productive people
the whole game is sickening, and participating in politics is condoning it
