This is a good question.

All the fancy tech and jargon in the world is worthless if there's no community. Shared history and celebrations help foster that sense of belonging to a community.

In its absence, there is...what?

Do we have to link money to community? It's just money the rest is tribalism and nothing good has ever evolved from that.

I hear you, but without the community that chooses to use it, it has no value. I think we're a tribal animal, but we live in a very fortunate time, where we get to choose our tribe and we're not linked purely by geographical fate of birth. I choose this 'tribe' so to speak because it most broadly shares my values.
