I was sad this year to not do the stocking tradition. That has been the thing I missed the most since my long-term partner left in 2019. Opening the stupid little stocking things.
Well a friend stopped by to.visit yesterday and she brought me a stocking. some handmade things, and this sign.

For adults, holidays are mainly work and stress. We do it to pass down traditions. Maybe next year you will think of some kids you want to help their parents teach traditions to preserve our way of life
