Umm - I don't really like using General Purpose computers for live music. I would far rather use a bespoke box, like and MPC (which is, of course, Linux wearing a beard, in a box).

BUT if I had to... I'd probably use Ableton Live for live triggering of loops / plug host / mixer. With a nice control surface, that'd be very slick.

I have tried other streamer thingies but I keep coming back to OBS. It has never *once* crashed on me mid-stream, rock solid.
