This is really cool, Phil!! What did you use to take this photo?

Thanks! I have an astrophotography setup that I used for this. It is a William Optics ZenithStar 61 telescope on a SkyWatcher EQM-35 equatorial mount and the camera is a ZWO ASI533MC Pro cooled sensor astro camera. It is actually 80 x 2 minute exposures stacked and processed to make the final image.

It was taken with a small telescope and a specialised astrophotography camera so probably similar to what some of the APOD pics are taken with!
