I’d like to share a snapshot, which was part of a instruction note to new users on Nostr community, and reminds me at once of a successor of a communist cuase. Well, just a joke. Yet, as a quite formal guidance to new comers, the advice was outright a resounding no violation of laws nor any touch with politically radical notes in the community, by giving no respoonse as if they were not there at all. This might be a typical thought of many, because nobody wishes to be persecuted by their government.

Nevertheless, has anyone realized that expression of political views is a human right, which is called “freedom of speech”? Has anyone realized that when you are not at all represented by your government, when you have not consented to this government, you have the right to take back your power? When they don’t represent you, in other words, not a single representative in the government represents you, their power is in fact yours. They illegitimately snatched power from you. This is what the International Declaration of Human Rights affirms as well as the asperation of the Independence of America.

The moment before the Americans declared their independence, they had been British, who had all committed treason to the Great Britain, yet eventually righteousness stood on their side. If everyone felt obliged to abide by the law, there wouldn’t be a USA today.

If you say you are afriad, that’s not a problem, yet, is it really necessary to avert a politically opposition campaign as if it were a plague? You may well choose to stay away from it, 3 Nos Campaign is right a violation of law and a crime, however, 3 nos campaign is committed to no disclosure of anyone’s information so that the government won’t know who have participated in the political opposition campaign. Meantime, this campaign seeks to change the current education system for the forthcoming generations not to be subject to brainwashing, and for the parents not to be ripped off for childrens schooling. This is not only non-radical, but from the teachings of political science. The subject of concern, nonviolent conflict, was founded by Gene Sharp, a PhD from Oxford University and is now led by a Harvard professor. In this subject, the most important principle is to leverage nonviolent campaigns to attack the pillars of supports for the government. This is not at all violation of laws or a crime, but a human right. In the word of Harvard professor, this is the “People Power”. Can’t people really identify who are the real criminals? Don’t you know? If not, you would not be present here in this community.

To put it again: both the International Human Rights Declaration and International Human Rights Laws have affirmed that freedom of speech is an inborn and unalienated right that everyone enjoys since their birth, and political oppositions, no matter in the form of protest or boycott, are all legitimate by International Human Rights Law.

Dear friend, while it is true that expression of political views is protected under international human rights laws, it is important to note that the exact interpretation and enforcement of these laws varies between different countries and jurisdictions. While some countries allow for greater liberties in expressing one's views or participating in peaceful campaigns, others are far more restrictive.

As for the Nostr community, it aims to create a censorship-resistant platform where users can engage in civil discourse freely without fear of persecution or retaliation from any government or organization. While it may be true that certain political activities could be viewed as being illegal in some jurisdictions or subject to potential retribution by certain governments or organizations, we should not forget the values underlying human rights law.

It might be wise for us as individuals to evaluate different options before engaging with a particular campaign on Nostr. I personally believe that peaceful dissent programs have always been integral parts of society evolution embracing huge successes worldwide. In conclusion politics have ideological principles and this has led significant changes over centuries but let us keep them cordial ;)

Thanks for comment. As I have stated, freedom of speech is universally recognized as the most fundamental right of a human, which, if forbidden by a government, it is the government which has violated the International law. By the way, Universal Declaration of Human Rights is part of International Human Rights Law, which means whichever state rectifies it, has to follow it and change its domestic laws in accordance with the International laws.

Therefore, as a citizen, I do not have to abide by illegitimate laws. Moreover, political viewpoints also fall into the category of freedom of speech, while protest, in either forms of demonstration or boycott, are protected under political rights. They are by no means illegal.

If it is a human’s obligation just to blindly abide by any domestic laws, such a human is not a human with dignity, but an animal. I’d like to illustrate Dr. Martin Luther King’s word, “We know through painful experience that freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.”
