Why to be scared? A patch has 0 chances of adoption. Also there are ways to spam even without the discount. Senders have enough VC money to burn, they don't care about the discount. Let them feed the miners.

Frankly I don't give a shit about the patch, because it won't affect me. And this is the reason I would oppose it and do what I can to render it useless (unless it is not already).
