Issue is to open a channel you need to use atleast 1,000,000 SATS for it to be useable. That’s only around £500 right now. Many items cost more than £500. Ideally you want a channel of atleast £2,000.

Then there’s the risk of losing your SATS because it’s on a “soft wallet” of your lightning node. :(
