I predict the NPC masses will welcome a CBDC with open arms as it comes with free handouts in the beginning.

Educated people will move to different countries – El Salvador, Phillipines etc, and there will be two worlds existing, not much unlike the evil dystopia in China and the farce democracy in the west.
