She talked my ear off about the federal reserve and monetary debasement. She said all of the right things about why we need Bitcoin. She also didn't know about Lightning. That doesn't mean she doesn't get it. She knows something is wrong with our current system and that's good enough for me. 🫂

Yeah in fairness I find that there are different states in getting it.
Bitcoin from a monetary standpoint and understanding what money is as well as contrasting it against the current incumbent system, fiat.
There is then Bitcoin the tool that has its own nuances.
I feel I was mostly in the same spot when I made my first self custody transfer from Coinbase to Bitcoin Core. It was terrifying even though I moved a relatively small amount first.
She will feel the “tangibility” of Bitcoin once you set her up on self custody and she’ll have her second “aha” moment.
