I believe there is karma.... the energy we give is the energy we receive. Destruction to others (or at the expense of others) leads to destruction to oneself (I e., emotionally, physically, financially, etc )

Karma is happening to these individuals and you're likely not witnessing it.

For instance, think of the wealthy individuals who made money unethically who are miserable (I.e., spouse who only likes your bank account, kids who hate you for not being a good parent, health is poor from neglect, etc) . They drown their misery in drugs, alcohol, food and material purchases to feel something other than numbness of ill gotten gains.

You may think, "hey, I wouldn't mind being miserably wealthy". But if you have any morals, you will not enjoy the rise to the top at the expense of others....and it will eat away at you... Like a cancer.

That is true. Didn't look at it in this way. Definitely changes the perspective quite a bit. 💚

in the west we still classify some things as ‘real’ and ‘spiritual’, when they are all the same thing.

in the same way that WiFi and the heat from a fire are just different frequencies in a much larger energy matrix, real and spiritual are different frequencies of the same reality. we can’t see it the same way we can only see the ridiculously narrow RGB light band in the much larger energy matrix.

an observable pattern in the observable universe, is that all action produces energy which doesn’t die, but gets absorbed somewhere. in the same way, every action sows a seed which at some point will be reaped. and if part of us exists outside of time (since time is relative to mass and acceleration) then part of us is “eternal”. I don’t want to be dodging bad seed’s forever.

Great analogy!!
