Pensacola. Yes. And yes. Go to Palafoxmarket.com, they have a tab to become a vendor. Waiting list is stupid long. Farmer $20, Bakers $30, maybe Artists more than that. Better have all your permits and whatnot cause they don’t play.

I find that sad, bordering on infuriating.😒...🀬

A few years ago, I visited my Dad in New Hampshire. In the small town where he lived, there was a farmer's market on Saturday mornings. It met alternately in the parking lot of the town hall or at the elementary school.

No fees. No permits. Just a random gathering of well meaning community members who had things of value to exchange with one another...πŸ˜†

Fees I can understand if a location is private property, or if an event provides some useful service or supplies electricity, or even organization and advertising. However, "permits" ultimately benefit none but the parasite class.πŸ€¨πŸ€”

Yes, agreed. This market, when we started, was free, no permits required. Participants had to actually produce/grow/farm their products, and live within 50 miles of the market. Then, cottage laws were changed and a flood of vendor applications to caused the city get strict.

once again points out how the nostr is amazing, almost totally unregulated, can digitally exchange freely among individuals and companies, from anywhere to anywhere (for now of course)
